6'0 Michael Miller fish...

This 6'0 fish was glassed double 8 deck and a single 8 bottom. It has a half inch red cedar stringer and glass leash loop bridge done "Roper-style". This was a Christmas present to my S-son Zach who graduated the Fire Academy...were very proud of him. All work: shaping and glassing were done by Michael Miller. He has shaped for sometime under Christenson's label and now under his own at: http://factorysurfin.blogspot.com/ and http://www.mmillersurfboards.com/index.html enjoy. DP

7'0 Frye Fish...

This is my personal board. It's pretty big for a fish but it's just right for me. The fin work was incredibly fun to do....Skippy has a fish just like this one...same color, shape and size...even has a set of my art fins on them. What an honor. Daniel

Yater Spoon...

Rising sun for a Yater Spoon. Wouldn't you love to "spoon" this one? DP

Josh Hall's balsa fish...

Twin keels for a blasa Josh Hall fish...Josh is one of the few to be mentored by Skip Frye...around the same time I was being taught by Larry Gephart...what an honor for both of us to work togeather and carry on fine the craftmanship we were taught by men who are legends...straight up. Aloha, Daniel

Hynson agave...

This was a simple but good looking fin...I was hoping for a bigger challenge especially knowing that my fins were going on these agave Hynson shapes....the twin keels provided that challenge....they were time consuming and required the lightest touch...see them below. Daniel

Hynson projects...

These fins were made for Mike Hynson's agave surfboards. The single fin is Mahogany and the twin keels were made of agave and extremely difficult to make with out breaking. Honored to be involved with Hynson. Aloha, Daniel

Excotic Hardwoods...

These are all excotic hardwoods completely handmade here in the USA....imagine that. Daniel

Checkers....

I did these fins awhile back...I don't get to do that many hardwoods...it's all about the marine ply and the flex for most of us but I love doing these exotic hardwoods. Aloha, Daniel

Custom John Cherry box fin.

John Cherry made me this beautiful coco-boa and maple single fin for my 40th birthday come August 16th. Cherry has been a good friend and mentor to me....More pictures to come. Aloha, Daniel

Wood burns...

This is something that I enjoy doing most....pyro-graphic art work on my fins...most of these are gifts...Aloha Spirit is giving and I enjoy that more than anything. Daniel

10'4 good buddie...

This is my first and best Skip Frye board. These are some of my very first fins and they work great despite that fact. DP

Skip Frye for Yuichi...

Ohana member Yuichi (You-itchy) got Skipper to shape him this beautiful fish Simmons. The fins were foiled, art worked, and tinted yellow...free for Ohana brother. Check out Yuichi at his Waves forever address: http://www.wavesforever.com/ DP

Got fins???

The largest source of natural energy...Steve Pendarvis. 5'6 personal knee board with "slant back" keels...fast fish. DP
